The tentative date of the 2016 PBI is Friday-Sunday, February 12-14. This is contingent on McGonigle Arena being free, which we won't know until the Temple women's basketball schedule is completed in October. We'll finalize the date as soon as we can.
Due to renovation to the gyms we use at Temple University, those gyms will not be avaiable for our use from July 1 until late August. In the interim, we have arranged to use nearby gymnastics schools to continue our summer training. See below.
Philadelphia Boys' Gymnastics is a competitive program in the USA Gymnastics Jr. Olympic Program
(formerly Temple University Boys' Gymnastics Team)
The primary purpose of this program is to provide Philadelphia-area youth with a quality training and competitive experience in boys’ gymnastics, within the framework of the USA Gymnastics Boys’ Jr. Olympic Structure. A secondary purpose is to support the Temple University Men's Gymnastics Team. The facility we usually use is in McGonigle-Pearson Hall, rooms 143-144, on Temple University’s main campus, Broad Street & Montgomery Avenue. However, due to renovation of the Temple U gyms this summer, we will hold our training sessions from July 1 through August 21 at Upper Merion Dance & Gymnastics Center [530 Hertzog Blvd King of Prussia, PA] on Mondays and Wednesdays and at Will-Moor School of Gymnastics [2036 Briggs Road Mt Laurel, NJ] on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We expect to return to Temple's facility August 24.
