Philadelphia Boys' Gymnastics is a competitive program in the USA Gymnastics Jr. Olympic Program

(formerly Temple University Boys' Gymnastics Team)

The purpose of this program is to provide Philadelphia-area youth with a quality training and competitive experience in boys’ gymnastics, within the framework of the USA Gymnastics Boys’ Jr. Olympic Structure. The facility we use is in McGonigle-Pearson Hall, rooms 143-144, on Temple’s main campus, Broad Street & Montgomery Avenue. Our building has undergone a facelift and is now an all-glass front with the entrance in the middle of the front of the building. Our gyms are in the back hallway, almost directly back from the entrance.

Levels of instruction:

USAG allows competition in the following levels for the age-groups noted: Level 4 (compulsory) – 6, 7-8, 9-10, 11 & over; Level 5 (compulsory) – 7-8, 9-10, 11 & over; Level 6 (compulsory) – 7-8, 9-10, 11 & over; Level 7 (compulsory) – 9-10, 11-12, 13 & over; Level 8 (FIG modified optional) – 11-12, 13-14, 15 & over; Level 9 (FIG modified optional) – 13-14, 15-16, 17-18; Level 10 (FIG modified optional) – 15-16, 17-18. Parking
Garage parking is available in the nearby Liacouras Center garage (enter from 15th Street) for $6 (up to 2 hours), $7 (2-3 hours) or $14 (over 3 hours or on event days). On-the-street parking is also available but limited, as we operate often when university classes are in session. Drop-off is done at the middle of the 1800 block of North Broad Street, at the entrance to McGonigle-Pearson Hall. Our gyms are in the back hallway.
